Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Industrial Disease team, they are seeking to appoint a Costs Draftsperson / Lawyer to handle a case load of hourly rate cost disputed files.
You will have the opportunity to work with a number of different insurer clients, with a variety of technical arguments. You will be drafting budgets, drafting points of dispute, negotiating settlements and instructing counsel or attending Detailed Assessments Hearings
The candidate will have at least 2 - 3 years experience as a Costs Draftsperson/Costs Lawyer ideally handling a range of injury matters - whether from a claimant or defendant background.

- Previous experience of handling own caseload is desirable
- Ability to deal with third party solicitors and insurers daily
