Council Tax Officer

Job description

Our Revenues & Benefits Service administers Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits. We are looking for a confident individual to join our friendly Revenues team.

You’ll be responsible for updating Council Tax liabilities, awarding discounts, exemptions and be required to provide advice to customers over the telephone, in writing and sometimes face to face.


To succeed in this role, you must have experience of working in Council Tax or a similar financial role and be able to provide complex information to customers.
