The role involves:
- Providing weekly counselling sessions (face to face and remotely) at our centre in Hitchin
- Related administration (using the LampLight database)
- 1.5 hour clinical services meetings six-weekly (on Fridays, 10.00 am to 11.30 am)
- Building up to a caseload of 16 clients per week
- Working two evenings (Mon- Thu) per week 5-8pm
- Providing counselling within charitable and full-cost-recovery services
It is essential that applicants must have a BACP (or equivalent) recognised Advanced Diploma in Counselling and applicants will also need to be BACP accredited, or have a clear date by which their application will be submitted. A specific qualification relating to Young People would be desirable.
Good administration skills are important together with a willingness to work as an integral part of a professional clinical team.
