SalaryBerry Recruitment are currently seeking a Counter Balance Forklift Driver for our client based in Thornwood Common near Epping. They specialise in freight forwarding to UK and European destinations and are members of The Pallet Network
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics preferably within the palletised network, be a team player and be proficient using a Counter Balance FLT.
Annual Salary 30,000pa
Working hours: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week (Unpaid lunch break) with flexibility to work between 06.00 and 20.00. Occasional Saturdays as required. Overtime paid after 45hrs at time and a quarter.
The working day will be made up of forklift and warehouse work, if you do not want to be involved with non-forklift work please do not apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and safely load and unload vehicles using counterbalance FLT.
- Processing paperwork.
- Stock and restock picking bays, ensuring proper labelling, and sorting.
- Prepare daily customer orders, including palletisation, wrapping, and loading.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
Requirements:
- A valid Counter Balance flt licence.
- Previous Fork Lift operative experience is desirable.
- Physical fitness for lifting and moving items.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Capable of working under own initiative
- Commitment to health and safety protocols.
