Loader - Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Starting Salary: £26,500
Hours of Work: 5.30am – 1.30pm
With some flexibility to work 8.00am – 4.00pm/1.30pm – 9.30pm as required
Occasional weekend work paid as overtime may also be required.
We are looking for a reliable Loader to join our small but busy team. You will safely load and unload LGV vehicles as instructed by the Transport Manager or Assistant Transport Manager, ensuring the correct ancillary products are picked and loaded as per the specific order, and pallets are stacked safely and correctly stored. You will be an experienced safe driver and be careful and conscientious in your work as the product is damaged easily as it is soft metal.
You will hold a valid Counterbalance fork truck licence and ideally have previous experience of loading and unloading all types of vehicles. You must also hold a full driving licence as you will be required to shunt vehicles within the yard. You will have a good attitude to teamwork but also be able to work on your own initiative. You must be able to communicate effectively, be polite and well-mannered and have good general awareness of health and safety.
