Full-time, Temp-Perm

Location: Outskirts of Bedford (Transport Required)

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Our client, a market leader in their field located on the outskirts of Bedford, is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift & Labouring Operative to join their small, friendly team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Important: Own transport is required due to the location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Counterbalance Forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Assist with general labour tasks including, but not limited to, manual handling, sorting materials, and site cleanup.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift license/certification.
• Proven experience as a Counterbalance Forklift operator.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labour tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
