Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.

We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services and Veterinary Nursing.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time FE Course Manager/Lecturer to join our Animal Management Department here at our Middlesbrough campus, Stewart Park. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is capable of working with others and is responsible, passionate and knowledgeable about the overall Animal Management sector and has an enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Reporting to the Curriculum Team Leader, this role will course manage Animal Management students, which will include teaching across various levels. Responsibilities include the day to day administration and tracking of the students within your course management group, providing academic support and study skills as necessary and teaching a variety of modules across the department.

Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
