Cover Guard

36 hours per week guaranteed across 7 days, 12-hour day / night shifts.
As an overview, cover/bank guards are responsible for carrying out the duties of other guards in the event of their absence through sickness, holiday, or other circumstance. They must adhere to the job description relevant to the role they are covering and follow any applicable assignment instructions.
NB. Sites will change from time-to-time in accordance with customer/assignment changes. You need to ensure that all changes to assignment instructions, keyholding’s and computer-based site instructions are identified, and that this information is passed on to the Supervisor in order that they can be updated appropriately. If there is ambiguity due to incorrect/out of date information, you need to ensure that guidance is sought, and clear instructions given to resolve the task.
Essential Requirements:
• Hold a SIA Security Guard Licence, Door Supervision Licence or Close Protection Licence.
• Possess and maintain a full, clean driving licence.
• Able to display a positive culture.
• Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work alone, but in regular contact with the ARC.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and report inaccuracies so that continuous improvement is maintained.
• Willingness to work on shift rotation including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Be friendly and flexible.
• Be professional and polite.
• Be smart, clean & tidy.
