We are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join an esteemed SEMH School in Shrewsbury, working closely with KS3 and KS4 students.

? Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include supervising classes, ensuring a positive learning environment, and supporting students' educational and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes and managing behavior effectively
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans
- Providing support to students with SEMH needs
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with teaching staff and SENCO to meet individual student needs
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children/young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behavior effectively
- Empathy and understanding of SEMH needs
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
