Do you have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor? Currently seeking to work long-term in a thriving learning environment as a Cover Supervisor?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic Secondary School in Slough as a Cover Supervisor. The role as a Cover Supervisor is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.
Experience working as a Cover Supervisor would be ideal but you must have experience working with children professionally within the UK that you are able to provide references for.
The Role:
- Promote inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils as a Cover Supervisor
- Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy & procedures as a Cover Supervisor
- Communicate effectively & sensitively with pupils to adapt to their needs & support their learning as a Cover Supervisor
- Maintain a stimulating & safe learning environment by organising & managing physical teaching space and resources as a Cover Supervisor
- Create a stimulating environment and motivate pupils with their learning as a Cover Supervisor
Requirements:
- Available Immediately to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm
- Have a full enhanced DBS or willing to get one
- Good communication skills is essential to communicate effectively with the secondary school pupils & teachers as a Cover Supervisor
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances & remain calm under pressure as a Cover Supervisor
- Live Local or commutable distance to Slough
