Cover Supervisor - Humanities - Luton

Job Overview: As a Cover Supervisor specializing in Humanities, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education when regular teaching staff are unavailable. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth educational experience for students while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Subject Specialization: Effectively cover Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Education, following pre-set lesson plans.
2. Classroom Management: Manage classroom behavior, fostering an environment conducive to learning and engagement.
3. Lesson Delivery: Ensure the effective delivery of educational content, providing support and clarification to students as needed.
4. Student Support: Offer assistance to students during lessons, addressing questions and concerns related to Humanities subjects.
5. Attendance Monitoring: Keep accurate records of student attendance, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate staff.
6. Collaboration: Maintain open communication with teaching staff, school administrators, and Dunbar Education to facilitate seamless coordination.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in the UK education system.
