Pearson Whiffin Education is looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Primary School in Chatham!
You will also take responsibility for delivering lessons in the absence of teachers and taking a leadership role in the classroom. You will collaborate with teaching staff to create a high standard of education both in classroom environments and outdoor learning activities.
A HLTA qualification, Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor experience is desired.
Your responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor will include:
- Delivering lessons in the absence of a qualified teacher
- Managing behaviour
- Assisting with maintaining a safe and positive environment throughout the school
- Being alert to any safeguarding or pastoral concerns
- Helping classroom teachers to deliver a high standard of education.
- Delivering lessons and taking leadership responsibility in the absence of Teachers
