We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cover Supervisor to join an SEN school in Blackpool. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with SEN and will be responsible for providing classroom cover and support across various subjects and age groups.
Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Blackpool
Daily rate: £120-£150
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and engagement among students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN coordinators to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and confidently manage challenging behaviours.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow lesson plans effectively.
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with SEN.
