We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant educational community in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and support students in their learning journey.
Responsibilities:
Covering Classes: Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere, promoting a culture of respect and engagement among students.
Supporting Learning: Provide support to students in understanding and completing tasks, fostering a positive attitude towards learning.
Adapting to Subjects: Cover a range of subjects and year groups as required, following lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
Communication: Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, communicating any issues or concerns promptly.
Supervision: Ensure the well-being and safety of students during lessons, break times, and other school activities.
Requirements:
A degree in any discipline is preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to various subjects and year groups.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
A passion for education and the development of young minds.
