If you have qualified teacher status (QTS), and are interested in working in a cover role - joining Randstad is your perfect next step. We are partnered with local schools and work in conjunction with Herts for Learning (HFL), meaning we are offered regular cover work, as well as some long-term opportunities.

In your role as a Cover Teacher, you will
- Play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular teachers
- Have the flexibility to cover classes across KS1 and KS2, adapting to different educational settings and requirements
- Create strong relationships with pupils and other staff members
- Mark work completed in your lessons, providing appropriate and effective feedback
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong, adaptable teaching approach with the ability to engage students of varying abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire all students
- Availability to start as soon as possible with a minimum availability of 2 days per week
- A current DBS check or willingness to undergo one
