CPCS Banksman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Banksman to join our team. The Banksman will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and equipment on construction sites or other work areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities
- Directing the movement of vehicles and equipment on site
- Communicating with drivers and operators using hand signals or radio communication
- Ensuring that vehicles are parked safely and securely
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
- Monitoring the surrounding area for potential hazards or obstacles
- Providing guidance and support to drivers and operators as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements

Experience
- Previous experience as a Banksman or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety procedures
- Knowledge of hand signals used for directing vehicles and equipment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks

Salary: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
