Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse - Early Intervention in Psychosis - Band 6
Location: Worcester area
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9am till 5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £24.00 to £26.00 P/h Umbrella (depending on experience)
A Day in the Life of a Community Psychiatric Nurse:
As a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse specializing in mental health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch healthcare services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- To offer specialist mental health assessments to Young People who present in crisis during the hours of the service.
- This role includes both Early Intervention, Duty, Triaging and Depot work
- Conducting multi-disciplinary assessments of patients' mental health conditions.
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans.
- Administering necessary treatments.
- Utilizing evidence-based practices and specialized skills for comprehensive patient interventions.
- Collaborating seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records adhering to professional standards.
- Staying abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in mental health.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current and valid registration with the NMC.
- Early Intervention experience
- Car Driver
- Proven experience in a community psychiatric nursing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Working Hours and Contract Duration:
This role requires flexibility with working hours from 9am till 5pm Mon to Fri offering a 3 to 6-month contract.
