Crane Operator
We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator with mechanical experience to work for a global engineering company within the North Sea.

Duties of Crane Operator
Carrying out routine checks on the crane by the maintenance procedures and pre-start checklist.
Proactive approach to maintaining and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the platform cranes.
Quickly locate, record, and raise remedial work orders for crane problems in the client's maintenance system.
Determining and placing the appropriate material orders that will impact the scope of any repair work.
Monitor the status of work orders in the maintenance management system, as well as their updates, closeout, and history upon completion.
Communicate with the support engineer regularly to plan and discuss crane maintenance tasks as well as to keep them informed about platform activities and difficulties.
Give the handover support engineer an end-of-trip summary report that includes information on the work scopes completed, any lingering issues, and any defects, together with the relevant maintenance work order numbers.
Carry out regular mechanical maintenance routines, from daily checks, Weekly, monthly, 3M, 6M, and 12M, through to major planned maintenance on all cranes.
Requirements of Crane Operator
Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 Hydraulic & Mechanical Assessment
VQ Level 3 Engineering Maintenance – Mechanical/Electrical or other recognised apprenticeship
Served in the global offshore and marine crane sector. Ideally on NOV, Kenz, and Liebherr cranes
Setting up and troubleshooting hydromechanical and/or electromechanical systems.
Be able to comprehend engineering drawings and schematics and use this knowledge in real-world situations.
Working knowledge of maritime engineering software.
Hands-on experience with MIPEG and PAT load monitoring equipment
BOSIET, MIST, and working at heights.
