Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is 9.00-17.00. This is a part-time role if 15 hours per week.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
We are looking for a creative and innovative Creative Arts Co-ordinator who is confident in his or her core skills to take up the exciting opportunity to work within the Inverclyde HSCP Occupational Therapy Service for mental health and alcohol and drug recovery services.
You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative clinical style will be essential.
Responsibilities will include the promotion and inclusion of arts as part of the recovery for people within mental health and ADRS. This may include specialist assessment and interventions for both individuals and groups.
You will be part of the Occupational Therapy Service and will receive professional support and supervision from the Occupational Therapy Team Lead. You will gain access to appropriate training and will have protected CPD time.
