Job description

Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Location: Harrogate and Surrounding Areas

Are you a unique and passionate individual with a genuine love for fostering the growth and development of young minds? We are currently seeking dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our team in Harrogate and the surrounding areas.

Position Overview: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children's social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for children to thrive.
  • Embrace outdoor and messy play, encouraging creativity and exploration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's unique needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic learning space, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Document and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a nursery setting is essential.
  • Passion for outdoor and messy play, promoting a hands-on learning approach.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the option for flexible hours.
  • Newly qualified practitioners (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
