Creative Copywriter / Content Specialist, Reading (Hybrid), £33k to £40k DOE

Avanti Recruitment is working with an exciting up and coming digital and creative agency in Reading and would love to hear from enthusiastic and talented individuals with experience as a Content Specialist, Content Creator, Copywriter. Applicants with more seniority may also have experience as a Content Strategist or with Content Strategy as part of a wider Copywriter or Content Designer position.

What does the day to day look like?

This will be a varied role working with an array of cool clients including SMEs, NFPs and start ups, all of whom want to better their content, improve their user journeys and ultimately optimise their conversion rates! You will create high quality digital content (blogs, product descriptions, articles, Email and ad campaigns, social media posts etc)., all the while researching and identifying the best phrases and keywords for SEO, optimising via on page elements like meta tags and overall quality content.

Experience required;

• Experience in copywriting with a passion for creating and writing high quality content
• Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail and ability to adapt style according to audience
• Good research skills to create the best content for customers
• Knowledge of SEO / SEO best practice

Desirable skills;

• SEO Software i.e SEMrush
• Canva
• Design skills
• Branding
• Creating digital ad content / content strategy
• Experience or knowledge and interest in UX
• PR / Comms
