Credit Analyst, Camberley, (Hybrid), £40,000-£50,000+benefits
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for undertaking credit applications, ensuring accurate information is gathered, and conducting risk analysis for new and existing customers. Additionally, they will recommend and set credit limits, build and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts, update and maintain customer account records, regularly perform credit reviews of existing accounts, and create and administer credit reports.

Responsibilities for the Credit Analyst:
- Undertake credit applications, ensuring accurate information is gathered from prospective borrowers.
- Conduct risk analysis for new and existing customers to assess creditworthiness and determine appropriate credit limits.
- Recommend and set credit limits based on risk assessments and company policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as loan officers and underwriters.
- Update and maintain customer account records with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Regularly perform credit reviews of existing accounts to monitor credit risk and identify potential issues.
- Create and administer credit reports to track customer credit performance and compliance with loan agreements and credit terms.
Qualifications for the Credit Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is preferred not mandatory
- CFA/CPA/CICM is highly sought after
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis / underwriting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
