Job Title: Credit Hire Recoveries Specialist
Location: Rochdale, United Kingdom
Salary Range: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Hire Recoveries Specialist to join our team in Rochdale. As a Credit Hire Recoveries Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and recover outstanding debts for credit hire claims. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and strong negotiation abilities will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Manage Credit Hire claims from inception to settlement, ensuring efficient and effective recovery processes.
Conduct thorough investigations to evaluate the validity of claims, gathering relevant information and supporting documentation.
Negotiate with third-party insurers, solicitors, and other relevant stakeholders to reach fair and reasonable settlements within set parameters.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external parties, including Credit Hire companies, solicitors, and insurance providers.
Communicate with clients, providing them with updates on the progress of their claims and addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
Ensure compliance with industry guidelines, legal requirements, and regulatory standards during the recovery process.
Document all activities, correspondence, and relevant information accurately and comprehensively within the case management system.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide expert advice and support on complex Credit Hire recoveries cases, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry trends related to Credit Hire recoveries, incorporating this knowledge into daily work activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in Credit Hire recoveries, insurance , or litigation is essential.
Strong understanding of Credit Hire claims, relevant legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all aspects of work.
Ability to manage a high volume of cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in using case management systems, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
Knowledge of industry-best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to Credit Hire recoveries.
Qualified or working towards a relevant professional qualification, such as CILEX or the Institute of Credit Management, would be advantageous but not essential.
