Credit Hire Litigator

Our client is a leading UK law firm specialising in representing motorcyclists injured in road traffic accidents and suffered loss and damage. They are looking for a full-time Credit Hire Litigator, and the remote role comes with a salary of up to £40k and excellent benefits.

As a Credit Hire Litigator, you will manage a caseload of Fast Track or Multi-Track motorcycle Credit Hire and other claims, from start to finish. You will recover losses for clients from responsible insurers through litigation.

In your first few weeks in this Credit Hire Litigation role, you can expect to:

• Proactively progress your caseload to ensure that clients receive professional, timely and balanced legal advice, managing client expectations throughout the process
• Prepare and draft legal documents required from the issue of a claim form, through court proceedings until conclusion at a Hearing/Trial if a suitable settlement is not obtained
• Join case management conferences, either in person or by way of a conference call, to instruct Barristers to represent clients at hearings and obtain formal advice over issues of quantum.

To succeed in this Credit Hire Litigator role, you will need litigation Credit Hire claims handling experience, preferably with litigated motorcycle claims. You will also require the following:

• Good judgement, technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Excellent negotiation and strong communication skills
• Empathetic, flexible in approach and adaptable to changing situations
• Adept at working collaboratively within the team and a diverse audience
• Passionate about delivering an outstanding level of care and service to your clients.
