We have a newly created vacancy within Lending Support for a candidate with relevant experience within Credit, with a detailed and demonstrable knowledge around all areas of Lending (including CCA and MCOB rules). The Lending Support Officer will work alongside busy Private and Commercial Banking teams and Credit departments whose involvement with the Bank’s Credit process is comprehensive. The Lending Support Officer will focus on providing pro-active support to the Private and Commercial Banking teams and Credit Operations team
This role provides a first-class service to the Private and Commercial Banking teams, whilst ensuring that the lending complies with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control the drawdown process working closely with Private and Commercial Banking and Credit Operations.
- Track completion of Conditions Precedent to ensure a smooth drawdown process.
- Ensure the timely payment of legal and valuation invoices.
- Ensure collateral data held by the bank is correct and up to date.
- Complete documentation to allow releasing of collateral as appropriate.
- Process loan redemptions including closure of loans.
- Indexing lending documentation.
- Assist with Credit queries and seek solutions to issues that may arise.
- Build and monitor good stakeholder relationships to ensure quality service is provided at all times.
- Review processes and suggest changes where appropriate.
- Involvement with project work as and when the opportunity arises.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Credit Operations Manager or Head of Credit Operations.
