We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and managing Credit Risk, ensuring the soundness of our lending decisions, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities for the Credit Risk Analyst
Deliver timely credit decisions within stated credit parameters and own underwriting authorityConduct thorough credit analyses on loan applications, evaluating the financial health, creditworthiness, and repayment capacity of applicants.Review and interpret financial statements, and other relevant documents to assess Credit Risk.Make informed underwriting decisions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Assess and quantify Credit Risk by utilizing various risk models, tools, and metrics.Monitor existing portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and legal, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client needs and risk factors.Assist with the day-to-day credit managementQualifications for Credit Risk Analyst:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred)At least 3 years of experience in Credit Risk analysis and underwriting, preferably in the financial services industry.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.Benefits for Credit Risk Analyst:
