Reporting to the Head of Credit, this exciting opportunity is working with a fantastic company who really care about their employees, understand, and are committed to the market, and have implemented market leading broker systems to drive their growth.

As Credit Underwriteryour responsibilities and duties will include:

• The role is to support the Head of Credit Asset Finance Flow to ensure all credit applications are assessed fully and meet the requirements of the bank’s Lending Policy.
• The successful candidate will produce high quality investigation and approve or provide recommendations & solutions to satisfy customer needs and business objectives.?
• You would also complete annual reviews for those required under Lending Policy and support with the preparation of appropriate MI and portfolio performance reports.

About You

If you are currently in a Credit role or are currently working as an Underwriter this is the ideal next step in your career…

We would love to hear from you if:

• Experience in underwriting and knowledge of the asset finance commercial environment including asset finance flow lending and the SME market.
• Knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis and underwriting methodologies for small ticket transactions.
• The ability to interpret and implement relevant guidance, ensuring compliance and due regard is paid to the interests of customers and customers are treated fairly.
• Knowledge of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements relevant to credit operations.
• An understanding of the relevant rules under the financial services acts.
