Applause IT are looking for an experienced CRM Database Officer for an exciting opportunity to work with a charity that supports everyone who is deafblind or has complex disabilities. This a 12 month FTC serving as a pivotal position overseeing the database. You will be providing support for the use of fundraising and engagement data for engagement, insight, income generation and management purposes across their Engagement team.
The successful CRM Database Officer will join at an extremely exciting time, at the early stages of a project where they are replacing their core database. You will provide additional capacity to an established data team preparing to migrate their system and as a result increase the workload. You will be involved in delivering training to colleagues to encourage them to capitalise on the opportunities provided by data, and promote a culture of data use, in order to drive insights and effective decision making. As the CRM Database Officer you will work closely with the existing data team and the Database Manager.
The successful candidate will have the following experience & attributes:
- Experience working with a CRM System within a fast-paced fundraising/sales/customer facing environment - working with Raiser's Edge or Microsoft Dynamics would be ideal
- Proven capability to provide great quality data services, including expertise in ETL processes and selections
- Strong analytical and planning skills with superb attention to detail
- Excellent communication able to deal with a range of different people at all levels
- Understanding of how clear and consistent data use drives insight, which can improve engagement with the public
- Desirable working knowledge of SQL, Python, R or comparable language
