Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity
The role of CRM Engineering Lead is pivotal as Aldermore embarks on a journey to be digital and increasingly adopts cloud-based solutions. You’ll be aligned to our Apollo Programme; one of the most significant change programmes our business has undergone. Apollo will enable the group’s strategic objectives by delivering a new, modern & progressive cloud-based banking platform that utilises data as an asset to help build a better tomorrow for our Customer, Colleagues and Shareholders.
The CRM Engineering Lead is a newly created role, working as part of a squad to develop our existing and new technology platforms, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience for our brokers and colleagues to maximise on our growth potential and modernise the way we do business.
- Provide CRM SME knowledge to ensure we utilise our software platform to deliver business value through effective engineering and architecture best practices.
- Collaborate with solutions architects, product owners, stakeholders and business analysts to design and build solutions.
- Input and help the architecture team define Architecture Strategic Roadmaps as a technical subject matter expert.
- Provide technology leadership to the development teams, encouraging personal and team development through mentoring.
- Support alignment across technology leadership, share experiences and discover improved ways of working.
- Significant CRM experience, including Salesforce & Experience cloud.
- Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce limits, architecture and skews, and applying to the Target Architecture Definition(s).
- Expert solutions design and engineering CRM experience, including Apex, SFDX, Lightning Components, Packages and Source Driven Development.
- Experience working in a large-scale CRM implementation, including Salesforce.
- Familiar with integration patterns using REST APIs and events, and an interest in a domain driven design environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and nontechnical language
- Previous experience leading an Agile software engineering team working in a continuous delivery environment.
