Team/Role Overview

The team works on providing analytics and expertise to the Markets business to enable calculations and risk management of XVA exposures. We collaborate closely with traders, risk management and other partners.

What you will do

  • Work in close partnership with quant colleagues along with collaborating closely with Traders, Structurers, and technology professionals.

  • Communicating with senior stakeholders across Markets Quants and the Sales and Trading teams.

  • Ensuring the success of strategic projects

  • Providing and supporting the development of tools across the XVA team

  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we will need from you

  • This is not an entry level position, prior experience in a comparable quantitative modelling or analytics role, ideally in the financial sector.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • XVA and coding experience

  • Proven experience of working and communicating with senior stakeholders

  • Must also have level of product knowledge, Investments and Quantitative Methods

  • Consistently show clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Master’s degree/ PhD in a relevant subject
