The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work, build, and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. The role will require attendance on site in Chippenham. Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Picture this: diving deep into the world of cybersecurity, we embark on the journey of crafting a Cross Domain Solution (CDS). Armed with carefully procured hardware "Tiger Traps," we embark on a mission to fortify their digital environment.
First things first, our team will seamlessly integrate with the client's infrastructure. With our blueprints in hand, we roll up our sleeves and dive into implementation mode. Configuring those Tiger Traps, we transform theory into reality, infusing the system with robustness and resilience.
Now, it's time to put our creation to the test. With bated breath, we conduct rigorous trials, ensuring that our Cross Domain Solution not only connects the dots but also facilitates seamless data transfer between the realms of Low and High Zones.
So, as the dust settles and our solution stands tall, we take pride in knowing that we've not just built a Cross Domain Solution we've forged a shield that safeguards our client's digital environment, one Tiger Trap at a time.
Collaborate with clients to design a top-notch cross-domain solution using their provided hardware, the formidable "Tiger Traps," ensuring it surpasses their expectations.
Aid in setting the stage by assisting with VM creation and gathering crucial data, including Tiger Trap Certs.
Implement the solution across both reference environments, configuring all four Tiger Trap appliances with precision.
Test connectivity and data transfer from the Low Side to the High Side landing zone, ensuring seamless operation.
Thoroughly document the installed solution, capturing every detail to reflect our dedication and expertise.
