Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team. As a Dental Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances according to dentist prescriptions and patient specifications. Your expertise and precision will contribute to the overall success of our dental practice.
Duties:
- Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances, using various materials such as ceramics, metals, and acrylics
- Read and interpret dental prescriptions and specifications provided by dentists
- Utilize dental laboratory equipment and tools to shape, trim, and polish prosthetics
- Collaborate with dentists and other members of the dental team to ensure accurate and high-quality results
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Keep detailed records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each project
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician or similar role
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with dentists and other team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise fabrication of dental prosthetics
- Proficient in using dental laboratory equipment and tools
- Knowledge of IT systems used in dental laboratories is a plus
- Fluent in English
