Description
Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a CSCS Labourer within the Ilkeston area . As a CSCS Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of construction projects.
This role will mainly consist on keeping site tidy and working alongside senior members of the site team, the role will be 3 weeks work initially with the potential for more work after.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning them, removing debris, and setting up equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters and electricians with their tasks.
- Handle and distribute construction materials such as tools, and equipment.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work space.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience working in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
