Culturally Specific Community Development Worker

We are recruiting for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Community Outreach Worker to provide a high quality personal welfare support service to survivors of domestic violence and abuse, including those at the point of crisis. This post will support survivors from marginalised and minoritised communities in Warwickshire and will have a focus on building pathways to support communities that do not access support in great numbers.  The successful candidate will work with partner agencies, local community, and faith groups to raise awareness and reduce barriers to accessing support.

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies. An enhanced DBS will also be required for the successful candidate.
