Job IntroductionDue to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated MOT Tester to join the team at Listers CUPRA Coventry, assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests. The hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday as well as working 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am to 1pm.Our packages and pay plans are industry-leading and are reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset.We offer an excellent basic salary, with OTE up to £31,000 plus benefits. Our well-equipped and modern facilities provide a professional environment for our staff with access to industry-leading, recognised training linked to your skills and experience youll be given every opportunity to progress your career.For more information or an informal chat, you can call 01789 403806 or 07793 314865 to speak to a member of the recruitment team or just click apply.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities would include MOT TestingYou will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.You also will be able to complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.To work within DVSA framework.You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures and standards from both the Company and Ministry of Transport.About youYou must have a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA and have an up-to-date annual training record and passed the assessment.Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician and brand accreditations would be beneficial but not essential as brand training will be provided.Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and qualityFull Driving licence.What we offer25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany PensionWellness ProgrammeSick PayGroup life insuranceStaff discount on car servicingListers Benefits
