The post holder will have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in an acute medical background (such as A&E, intensive care or as a Paramedic) and previous leadership experience.

Shift patternThe 4-on-4-off rota pattern will give you the ability to plan your personal life months in advance. The shift pattern comprises of 2-day shifts, 2-night shifts then 4 days off (12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am).
Main Duties of the roleProviding line management, including supervision, appraisal, managing poor performance and identifying CPD strategies.Forensic sampling (including road traffic offence bloods).Signposting and conducting referrals; offering support for vulnerabilities and supporting patients to break patterns of re-offending.Delivering substance misuse therapies.Assessment & care of detainees and staff in Custody Suites.Essential CriteriaQualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic.A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience acute medical healthcare experience.Previous experience as a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional.Desirable CriteriaPrevious experience in any of the following would be ideal to assist you in the role; A&E, Walk in Centre, Paramedic Practitioner, Substance Misuse, Community Nursing, Police Custody, Prison, or other relevant discipline.
