Job Overview
Contract: Full-time permanent contract – 79 hours per fortnight
Shifts: Between opening hours of Monday - Friday: 8am - 8pm and Saturday: 9am - 4pm.
Salary: A yearly salary of £23,500.00 per annum and performance-related bonus scheme.
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Hybrid Working: Performance-based criteria for home-working. Hybrid working may be available once you have passed your probationary period and your manager is satisfied with your performance. This gives our employees the chance to combine their time at work between the office and their home to offer better work-life balance.
Training: 3-week on-site comprehensive training learning about Zinc and how we support our customers – full attendance required. We also provide additional access to our tailored in-house Zinc Learning Academy to allow for further self-development.
Holidays: 30 days including bank holidays, increasing 1 day per year of service for the first 5 years.

The role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Taking inbound and outbound calls to help our clients’ customers who may be in financial difficulty – a positive customer experience underpins everything we do here at Zinc;
- Managing the customer database through ensuring that the account notes are kept up-to-date after each call;
- Delivering a high-quality service where treating customers fairly is at the forefront;
- Complying with our compliance and regulatory requirements.
Each day will be different, but you will remain the friendly voice that supports the needs of our customers and assists them through their financial challenges.
At Zinc, we are regulated by the clients we take on board due to the nature of the work we do. All successful candidates will undergo background checks including basic criminal record, credit, anti-money laundering, sanctions and company system checks.
