Customer Aftercare Specialist

At Okarno (previously known as Artex) we are looking for a Customer Aftercare Specialistto join our team in Ruddington. As first point of contact for all customer-related issues, you will be responsible for investigation, resolution and reporting of all customer-related service and quality complaints.

Okarno is a leading distributor of some of the UK's must-have construction brands, offering a diverse choice of over 500 trade and DIY products. We've been supplying customers of all shapes and sizes for over 80 years, and now tailor our offering to match the needs of merchants, decorator centres and DIY stores across the UK.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 office days in the office.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure that all customer complaints are satisfactorily resolved
• Maintaining and updating the customer complaints database

• Collect customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and reports trends to the relevant departments.

• Build relationships and share best practice gained from working collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders from across businesses
• Work to gain insight from customers to make service level improvements

What we're looking for:

• Someone proactive and engaging who holds the customer at the heart of everything they do
• Proven experience in customer experience and claims management, ideally in a similar industry or role.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP would be advantageous
• Proactive and flexible approach to work
