The Opportunity
Abbott Toxicology is the biggest provider for Drug & Alcohol testing in the country and also provides occupational health services through 23 medial centers across the country. We are looking for a Customer Onboarding Specialist to join the Toxicology Business Unit in Abingdon (Oxfordshire) that will support the existing and new accounts to ensure the best service experience.
What You’ll Do
As a Customer Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Setting up customer accounts, making account amendments
- Logging and resolving customer invoicing complaints
- Following good documentation practice, ensuring customer information is stored appropriately for future reference
- Ensure customer invoicing complaints are logged within the system and resolved within the deadlines
- Investigating complaints fully to identify the root cause and appropriate resolution
- Liaising with multiple departments to identify appropriate solution
- Replying to customer queries mainly via email
- Answering incoming customer calls
Required Qualifications
- GCSEs in English and Math’s to grade (or equivalent)
- Experience with working in an office-based, customer services or administration environment
- Good working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel
- Experience using Sage and other complex systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to us own initiative
- Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Process driven while being customer focused
- Capacity to work diligently when repeating tasks
