We're on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic team player to join us as a Customer Planner, based at ASDA House in Leeds. Ideal location: Leeds, United Kingdom, LS2

You would be based in ASDA house with some flexibility for hybrid working.

About the role:

Join us in a pivotal role where you'll provide essential support to the team in executing the annual customer plan. Your efforts will be instrumental in achieving the fundamental 'jobs to be done' for our business, aligning seamlessly with both customer and commercial objectives.

What does the Planning Coordinator do:

  • A key part of the role will be supporting the activation of the plan, from planning through to execution, working with the marketing and commercial teams to bring it to life. You will be a self-starter in this regard with an inquisitive mindset that looks for opportunities and drives the delivery.
  • You will contribute to the execution of Propositions; including supporting in the campaign nomination process, liaising with key stakeholders, ensuring all information is accurate, shared on time and aligned to the brief.
  • You will be responsible for delivering the customer activity plan priorities, working with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information.
  • You will be the connection between the customer function and the rest of the business, providing the customer teams with the information they need to deliver our key customer messages.
  • You will lead central meetings with all key stakeholders to ensure alignment across activity and consistent delivery through the line.
  • There will be a strong focus on relationship building, both inside your team and with the wider business ensuring you are proactive and can work collaboratively to achieve results.
  • You'll be required to work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders across the Customer, Commercial & Retail functions to plan, manage and execute activity.
  • A candidate that is looking to develop would be well suited to this role given the central nature of the role.

This would be a great Planning Co-ordinator role for you if:

  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate confidently communicate simply and effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Have brilliant analytical capabilities, a high level of commercial acumen and the curiosity find new ways to solve challenges
  • You are highly organised; detail focussed and have proven experience working on multiple projects in a retail environment.
  • You enjoy working with cross-functional teams: you get things done through by working collaboratively and agilely.
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate confidently communicate simply and effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • You are a highly motivated individual who is comfortable with fast paced every changing environment.
  • You have a great understanding of grocery retail
  • Retail / Marketing experience preferred.
