About the role

We're looking for a people-focused Customer Service Manager (CSM) to lead and inspire our branch team in Coventry, Warwick Shopping Park. This is about improving lives – not sales and targets – in our branch and community. This a 12 month opportunity.

CSMs are empowered to make decisions, to enhance their team’s performance, but also make a positive impact locally. They must form a deep understanding of the role their branch plays in the community and seek out opportunities to make a difference.

By nurturing their teams, successful CSMs deliver a service that members value. They care how others think and feel about coming to work. Their teams feel they belong, can be themselves and get the support they need to flourish.

Leading by example and being a key advocate of the Society’s regional vision will be key requirements.

 

About you

To be successful, you’ll have experience of leading a customer focused, financial services branch team. We’ll be looking for examples of how you’ve inspired those around you and improved the customer experience.

You’ll be passionate about people, driven by creating an inclusive, positive working environment and showing us how you’ve done this in the past. This should include experience of coaching and developing, not only team members but other managers as well.

You’ll also be able to evidence where your ability as a communicator has persuaded and influenced either your peers or senior management, to make positive changes with successful outcomes.
