Our client, a successful and established retail shop, is looking to recruit a confident, pro-active Customer Service Supervisor to join their team in West Grinstead. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter and will be proficient in using Microsoft applications and possess strong numerical and literacy skills. You should have strong leadership skills and possess a UK Driving Licence. If you are interested in this position, we would love to receive your application Responsibilities as a Customer Service Supervisor Organise the customer care team's workflow & ensure that they understand their duties or delegated tasks Monitor team productivity and provide constructive feedback and support where needed Undertake yearly performance reviews Oversee annual leave requests & sickness of the Customer Care team Resolve issues & customer complaints Train new employees & keep customer care up to date with new systems, procedures, products & promotions Answer customer emails, phone calls & online chats, take orders and up-sell Liaise with accounts team where trade accounts are overdue/over credit limit Manage & respond online customer reviews Document and process customer returns & refunds Advise customers though product knowledge Experience / Skills Full UK Driving Licence Prioritise and manage your workload to perform the various tasks as required The role requires a high level of attention to detail, good telephone manner, great interpersonal and communication skills You will need the ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills and develop an in-depth product knowledge Excellent communication and English (written and spoken) is essential Good numerical skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is desirable Pro-active, 'can-do' attitude and seek out opportunities for improvement and efficiencies Benefits 4% Pension contribution Life Assurance Plan Extra annual leave and bonuses for lengths of service Free Parking 50% discount on products Fresh fruit and snacks delivered weekly to the office Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor Location: West Grinstead Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Full Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm For more information about this Customer Service Supervisor role, please contact Joe Walker at Clearline Recruitment.
