Customer Service Team Leader
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm / 1 in 4 Saturdays
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year
Location: Shepshed
Contract Type: Permanent
Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Team Leader to join our business in Shepshed on a permanent basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The efficient and effective day to day running of the Customer Service department.
- Ensure customers always receive a positive response from the Customer Service Team.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customers orders by Customer Service.
- Be accountable for the management of customer relations to ensure a longstanding partnership is maintained.
- Ensure timely customer query resolution via appropriate processes and coordination/management.
- Lead on continuous improvement for the Customer Service department, including process and system development.
- Open order resolution.
- Complex query resolution.
- Customer service complaint management, including reporting and resolution.
- Lead on root cause analysis as and when required, implementing any required changes.
- Report Customer Service data as required and utilise to support effective service delivery.
- Manage the Customer Service budget.
- Create and deliver a yearly Customer Service delivery plan.
Experience and Skills:
- Good communication skills are essential with the ability to express empathy with customers
- Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
- Experience resolving disputes in a fair and calm manner and be able to identify issues, which could potentially become problematic and avoid situations arising
- Good people skills for working with a range of colleagues and customers
- Ability to lead & motivate a team
- Strong problem solving skills
