We have a Customer Service role available to join a fantastic insurance company on the outskirts of York, who pride themselves on being able to offer a calmer, kinder and better-informed insurance experience to all customers.
Based on the outskirts of York, you will need access to your own transport. We are keen to speak with anyone who has excellent communication skills, fantastic attention to detail, has experience working within an office-based Customer Service role, and wants to help improve the quality of people’s lives.
Being the first point of contact for customers, some of your duties will consist of:
- Answering customer calls and emails quickly and with a smile, always ready to help
- Keeping all policy and customer information up-to-date and accurate in our back-office system
- Reaching out directly to customers who’ve asked for a call back or enquired on the website
- Creating quotes and setting up policies for customers over the phone, live chat or email
- Amending policy information quickly and efficiently whenever a customer needs help
- Managing updates to finance payments and dealing with PayPal drawdowns, refunds and invoicing
- Helping solve any problems customers might have, managing any complaints with a warm, friendly approach and escalating if necessary
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, earning a salary of £27,000.
