Local authorities are responsible for helping children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to get to and from school. Over the last few years, a combination of rising costs, increased demand, and budget cuts have led to increased pressures, with over 80% of local authorities exceeding their school transport budget. We’re working with a South-West based software company who have developed a solution to this problem and are on a mission to deliver positive change to society and the environment.
This innovative start-up has created a cloud-based transport planning tool that helps local authorities save money whilst ensuring a high quality of service for students and reduction in CO2 emissions. Having experienced exceptional growth and success across the UK market, they are looking to expand overseas so it’s an exciting time to join the business.
They’re looking for an a Customer Success Manager with Software Implementation experience to join their growing team.
What you’ll be doing
This is a home based role as they generally interact with customers online but the role will involve some travel to customer locations throughout the UK and, possibly, overseas. Core responsibilities will include assisting with the onboarding and training of customers who subscribe to the software. You will be building strong relationships with customers and potential customers, understanding and communicating business requirements. There will be a need to assist the technical support team in resolving software issues and testing new product features. An important part of the role will be working with other internal teams to deliver a consistently excellent customer experience.
The skills we’re looking for

  • Experience of managing a software onboarding process for new customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience using SQL and working with software systems and databases.
  • Comfortable using desktop tools and analysing data in Excel.

You will stand out if you can offer any of:

  • Experience or interest in transport related disciplines
  • Experience or interest with Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
  • Experience in training users with new technology
  • Experience in working with UK local authorities
