Monday–Friday / 37.5 hours per week
Our client is a well-established family run business who have a vacancy for a Customer Support Advisor to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. The role will be office-based with requirements to go into the warehouse to check products and orders. The main purpose of the role will be to provide excellent customer service via both telephone and email. In addition to the basic pay the company also have a quarterly bonus scheme which you will be eligible for once you qualify.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
- Taking telephone calls, dealing with a variety of enquiries
- Arrange and dispatch samples and brochures for customer requests
- Advising local distributors’ details to callers
- Taking and assisting in the processing of sales orders and quotes
- Taking card payments
- Facilitation of incoming enquiries mailbox, forwarding or responding accordingly
- Delivery queries and ETAs
- Double checking picked orders before despatch
- You may also be required on occasion to follow up with recipients of samples and quotes for feedback
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in an office-based customer service role
- IT literate including knowledge of MS Office
- Happy to regularly go into the warehouse to check orders
- You should be enthusiastic and happy to learn
- Able to follow procedures and company rules
- Good communication skills
- Good team player
- It will be essential for the successful candidate to have their own transport to and from work, due to location and lack of public transport
