Customs Clerk

Hrgo are seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk for our successful client in Dover. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential for this role and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. Knowledge of customs procedures and principles are essential and preferably a minimum of 1 years' experience.

Duties include:

• Communicate with HMRC and other authorities to ensure goods cleared released

• Ensure HMRC rule and regulations are adhered to

• liaise with customers (both internal and external) to ensure timely

• Esure company values and strategies are followed

• Feed market information in to business to ensure offers most competitive service

• Work closely with sales team to grow customer share of wallet

• Support Customs Freight Manager in the development and growth of department

• AdHoc functions as and when required and directed by line manager

• Assist other departments as and when required / feasible

Shift pattern - 4on 4off, hours 6.00am - 6.00pm.

Salary is DOE.
