CV Operative - Level 3

Manpower has an exciting opportunity with one of its clients based in the Purfleet area, the role is to install commercial vehicle up fitting according to instructions.

Main Responsibilities:

• To install commercial vehicle up fitting according to instructions but not limited to;
  • Ply lining
  • Additional vehicle wiring.
  • Electrical systems installations e.g. cameras, weighing systems and heaters
  • Mechanical installations e.g. rear steps, tow bars and bulkheads
  • Vehicle decals fitting
  • Vehicle tracker installation
  • Tire fitter
• Be able to interpret vehicle paperwork, locate and confirm VIN number, understand option content and confirm correct accessories for different vehicle types and costumers.
• To report vehicle defects that may be found whilst undertaking the above.
• Being able to remove body work and panels for vehicle up lifts.
• To ensure all Company processes are followed to a high standard.
• To be competent at sending and receiving emails.
• Competent to complete Software updates on vehicle
• To work to the Health & Safety rules within the VEC.
• To attend toolbox meetings and to train and instruct other members of staff within the different Department's as and when required.
• To undertake any other tasks within your skill and capability.
• Drill and cut out security locks on the commercial vehicles.

The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, fair computer skills and must have a full clean UK driving licence. The candidate will also have an engineering background.
You must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
Pay rate is 15.16 per hour.
Working hours Monday - Friday (7am till 4pm)
Over time is available for this role, paid at enhanced rates.
Must be able to successfully commute to the Purfleet area.
