Job Title: Cyber Risk Manager

Role Purpose
As a Cyber Risk Manager you will support the cultural direction and assist in achieving our company strategic goals as part of the wider Compliance and Risk (C&R) group, accountable for all things relating to managing all manner of risk across the estate.
Reporting directly to our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) you will be focused on the development of Cyber Security as a function - a key strategic pillar within our organisation. A hands-on management role with responsibilities covering our global geography, you will not only be technical in nature but will also be able to provide leadership to effectively assist in attaining and maintaining an appropriate cyber security appetite.
Key Accountabilities
Assurance
Support the maturity of the Cyber Risk Management strategy and the Cyber security framework delivery and adherence in alignment with the governance direction
Monitor and measure control effectiveness aligned with strategic direction.
Recognise areas of improvement and work proactively with respective teams to align with security and corporate goals.
Provide consultancy into the business for all Cyber Security related matters.
Ensure new systems comply with Cyber Security standards and exceptions are documented and authorised.
Provide Cyber Security oversight for internal and external audits. Represent Travelex for area of expertise to regulators and customers.
Support the company digital direction and provide oversight and governance of the security direction.
Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to mature a secure by design culture.
Adapt the security landscape to move to meet industry expectations.
Interact with Information Governance and Data Privacy to ensure alignment with information management board expectations.
Assist in maturing the Cyber risk and technology risk landscape.
Act as the Project owner for key Cyber security implementations or enhancements
Management Responsibilities
Support the functional management of the Cyber Security team.
Ensure that the function is performing effectively and efficiently.
Provide employee direction and mentoring guidance to the Cyber security team.
Setting the performance measurements and monitoring performance of the Cyber security team.
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain robust relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure assurance analysis is visible and in line with agreed customer expectations.
Ensure smooth integration of new assurance standards.
Raise awareness and profile of Information Assurance across the business at all levels.
What are we looking for?
Significant experience of Cyber Security in a global organisation, in information technology & related fields.
Familiarity with BS 25999 / ISO27001 / PCI-DSS and related global standards / regulation.
Comfortable with Risk methodologies / process.
Possess effective analytical, planning and organisational skills.
Demonstrate a proven ability to deliver with a high level of quality focus.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to influence key stakeholders.
Have a professional approach with a confident assertive style
Build & maintain strong relationships with peers and colleagues
