Cyber Security Analyst – Travel Organisation – ISO27001, CyberEssentials+,

Manchester – Hybrid - £50,000

Applause IT are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join an industry leading travel organisation based in Manchester. The organisation is a technology focused travel specialist the is subdivided into luxury travel, business travel and sports travel. They work with some of the biggest organisations across the world handling and manging their travel requirements.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will support the organisation making sure you are delivering solutions inline with the organisations ISO27001, ,BS10012, ISO22301, PCIDSS, and CyberEssentials+ Certifications. You will review client and government prepared documentation to ensure it is accurate in all technical aspects as well as assist clients with any technical security queries they may have.

The Cyber Security Analyst will must have:

• Experience with Technical testing (Pen testing and vulnerability scanning etc)
• The ability to ensure that patching is happening, and back ups regularly tested while operating.
• Experience in monitoring Firewall rules, SIEM, and other logs.
• Carrying Phishing tests and ensure follow up training is completed.
• Strong Windows Server experience (Windows 10/11)
• Excellent networking knowledge TCP/IP
• Knowledge of security standards such as ISO20071 and CyberEssentials+

This is an excellent role for mid – senior Cyber Security professional living in Manchester and surrounding areas. Due to the nature of the role all candidates must have or be eligible for Security Clearance.
